Executive Compensation: Should we pay for ‘social’ performance? If so, how?

On Thursday February 18, the Coalition partnered with NYU Law School’s Institute for Corporate Governance and Finance to host a conversation on executive compensation and social performance. The discussion centered around recommendations from the Framework for Inclusive Capitalism: A New Compact Among Business, Government, and Workers.

The conversation was moderated by Robert Jackson, co-director of ICGF. Panelists included:

  • Christina Maguire, Managing Director, Governance Policy and Operations, BNY Mellon
  • Lynn Forester de Rothschild, Founder and Co-chair, Council for Inclusive Capitalism with the Vatican
  • Gary Retelny, President and Chief Executive Officer, Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS)
  • Judy Samuelson, Founder and Executive Director, Business and Society Program, The Aspen Institute
